The Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, is a key filming location for the 1958 sci-fi horror film, The Blob. The historic theater's interior and exterior were used for the movie's climactic scene where the Blob attacks the audience, causing them to run screaming out onto Bridge Street.
